Activating Linksys Phones
1. Log into your account at http://my.vocalocity.com
2. Click the "Extensions" link on the left side of the page.
3. Click on the extension you would like to assign your phone to.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Device Profile" link.
5. Select the Manufacturer of your phone from the "Provisioning Model" drop down box.
6. Enter the phone's MAC ID into the "Mac Address" field.
*Note: To find the MAC ID on your Linksys phone, flip the phone over and on the back you will see a silver label with a string of letters and numbers. This string usually starts with three 0s.
7. Click the "Save" option in the green bar at the top or bottom of the website.
8. Power on your Linksys phone, making certain it is plugged into the network by using the "LAN" port on the backside of the phone.
9. Now that the phone is powered on, press the menu button on the phone. This button looks like a piece of paper with a folded corner.
10. Scroll down to line 9 and hit "Select."
11. On the second line you will see "Current IP." Write down this address (e.g. 192.168.0.150).
12. Put the IP address you copied into the address bar of a web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
13. You should now see the web interface for the Linksys phone.
14. Click "Admin Login," on the right side of the page.
15. Click "Advanced."
16. Select the "Provisioning" tab across the top of the page.
17. Scroll down to the field "Profile Rule" and enter the following information exactly as seen here:
18. Click "Submit All Changes" at the bottom of the page. Now the phone will restart itself.
19. When the phone finishes booting back up, please pull the power cable on the phone
20. Plug the power cable back in 10 seconds later
21. After the phone reboots this time, wait 1 full minute. The phone will reboot within that minute and should come up showing extension numbers and green lights.
22. Provisioning complete.
